About the Role
This role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming retail environment through theft prevention, CCTV operation, and collaboration with store investigators to protect associates, customers, and company assets.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and respond to pedestal alarms to ensure a welcoming environment
- Detect and prevent theft and fraud
- Assist store investigators during suspect apprehensions
- Facilitate civil and criminal prosecution
- Conduct store surveillance using CCTV and floor walking
- Collaborate with Organized Retail Crime investigators to identify and report external losses
- Report alert signals and support internal dishonesty investigations
- Assist supply-chain investigators with potential losses
- Work with remote investigators and district managers to file external incidents with law enforcement
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Provincial security license (where applicable)
- Valid driver’s license preferred with access to a vehicle and good driving record
- Candidates aged 18 and over must undergo a criminal record check
