About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing models that enhance customer value and improve employee efficiency. You will work exclusively for the e-commerce director and their teams, developing algorithms, preparing datasets, and ensuring successful production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop models to enhance customer value and facilitate employee tasks.
- Understand internal client needs to define project requirements.
- Develop algorithms to meet business needs.
- Construct datasets for exploration and modeling.
- Ensure models are production-ready.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, MLOps, and DataOps for production deployment.
- Contribute to the development of a digital activity steering system.
- Participate in the production deployment of models.
Requirements
- Ideally possess a degree in Artificial Intelligence or Applied Mathematics.
- Proven experience applying AI in a business context.
- Experience in product reranking for e-commerce.
- Experience in improving product descriptions for e-commerce.
- Experience with Graph approaches.
- Experience in visual creation.
- Experience in image enhancement.
- Experience with AI chatbots.
- Experience with AI workflows.
- Experience with AI agentics.
- Ability to address technical challenges in the aforementioned fields.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (6-10 years).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.
- Ability to understand and challenge technical solutions proposed by business teams.
- Detail-oriented with a critical mindset for analysis and modeling.
- Autonomous and proactive in proposing improvements.
- Team player with a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge.
