About the Role

As a Junior Manager in ZPS Banking Ops, you will control and reconcile payment settlement processes within financial accounting systems. You will support the optimization of operational processes related to payment transaction processing and reconciliation across various payment methods by interfacing with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and Delivery Partners, and by realizing projects supporting Zalando Payments’ strategy. You will work closely with Finance, Technology, Product, and Customer Operations teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality financial operational processes by following defined processes and procedures.
Resolve operational issues and seek guidance for complex or high-impact topics.
Detect problems and proactively look for solutions in consultation with the lead.
Assure quality standards in your area of responsibility.
Take ownership of tasks and follow-up.

Requirements

Autonomously, accurately, and in a timely manner, execute finance transactions.
Seek guidance from expert colleagues or coordinators for non-standard transactions.
Contribute own ideas and suggestions based on knowledge, collected data, and information.
Act in a service-oriented manner and put the customer at the center of actions.
Participate in finance processes, execute transactions, and report activities contributing to financial statements, reporting, and data accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
