About the Role

Act as a coordinator between Group functions to support the operationalization of data protection and privacy responsibilities, focusing on key projects like Records of Processing Activity, Impact Assessments, Data Subject Requests, and Data Retention. Support the Group Platforms, Digital & Privacy team on legal & regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the Group’s data mapping project for the Records of Processing Activity (ROPA) to include all global/local systems and unstructured data.
• Regularly update Group and Maison-specific ROPA(s) and collaborate with key business stakeholders to ensure data privacy requirements are met.
• Understand regulatory requirements and coordinate with internal legal, technology, and risk management departments.
• Support, define, update, and implement Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).
• Assist in enhancing existing processes, including validation of assessments and implementation steps for ROPA maintenance.
• Handle timely responses to data subject requests (e.g., data erasure, data access) and maintain compliance documentation at a Group level.
• Assist the Group Digital Legal team in coordinating responsibilities between stakeholders dealing with data subject requests and defining global procedures and guidelines.
• Coordinate the analysis of data retention periods and implement operational processes to ensure storage limitation principles are complied with.
• Play a key role in guiding and reinforcing the Group’s Platforms, Digital & Privacy strategy.
• Work closely with Maison teams and the wider Richemont Group, including e-commerce, Group Technology, Group Data, Group Security, Human Resources, marketing, digital, and communications teams.
• Provide timely and results-oriented advice and support on platforms and online compliance, digital, and privacy matters globally.
• Respond to ad hoc queries, including identification, analysis, and evaluation of risks to provide appropriate legal solutions.
• Support the monitoring and management of compliance risks related to legal and regulatory matters, Group policies, and procedures.
• Ensure regular use of and contribution to Group Legal’s knowledge management and stay current on applicable legislation.
• Work in close cooperation with technical and non-technical internal and external stakeholders, and liaise with and manage external counsel.
• Draft, review, and contribute to Group Legal memos, guidelines, business rules, and processes.
• Assist with global data privacy-related topics, including those related to AI and blockchain.
• Contribute to and project-manage Legal Operations-related projects.
• Support the development and delivery of training initiatives for internal teams on global privacy requirements, best practices, and internal policies.
• Support response to data privacy incidents, root-cause analysis, and drafting responses to clients and regulators.

Requirements

• Previous work experience in a similar role (compliance, business legal function).
• Experience with privacy-related technology solutions (e.g., OneTrust).
• General commercial experience and business acumen.
• Highest work standards.
• Strong analytical skills and focus on detail and structure while preserving effectiveness.
• Keenness to learn, share, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to identify and seize opportunities for professional development.
• Digitally savvy, including routine use of AI with strong prompting capabilities.
• Good command of Microsoft Office (in particular Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Experience with shared work and project management environments (SharePoint, Monday.com, any other project management tools / tech solutions).
