About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop impactful programs and interventions for key customer populations, considering diverse needs and health equity.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customer leadership to support wellness strategy, goal setting, and execution.
  • Leverage Customer Insights analytics to identify priority areas and inform program development.
  • Cultivate wellness and well-being programming aligned with key customer focus areas and strategic needs.
  • Utilize internal and external resources and partnerships to deliver on customer wellness strategies, developing new partnerships as needed.
  • Apply evidence-based best practices, public health expertise, and project management skills to support customer and community wellness needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred (MPH, MBA, or master’s in health promotion, public health, health education, business, or related field).
  • Registered nurse, registered dietitian or nutritionist, health educator, or other certified health care designations (e.g., CHES/MCHES) preferred.
  • Certification as a group fitness instructor or personal trainer preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of equivalent experience in health education, public health, or a related health or business field.
  • Previous experience developing, implementing, and evaluating public health programming and interventions preferred.
  • Familiarity with strategic planning and data analysis preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply evidence‑based best practices and consumer research to develop, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs.
  • Working knowledge of behavior change theory and application.
  • Ability to leverage and analyze data for informed recommendations.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations when interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and strong judgment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Travel within the MVP service area required (must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license).
  • Occasional early mornings or late evenings may be required.
