About the Role

As Account Executive, Japan, you will be RZR's dedicated sales presence in the Japanese market, responsible for the full sales cycle from identifying and qualifying prospects to closing new business and launching customers successfully. This is a builder role for a highly motivated senior seller who wants to own a market and is ready to move fast.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from account identification to new customer acquisition across Japan
  • Present RZR's programmatic solutions (UA, Re-Engagement, CTV) to decision makers at mobile app companies, large consumer brands, and media agencies
  • Secure new business contracts and successfully launch new customers alongside Growth and AdOps teams
  • Leverage RZR's marketing resources (content, events, ABM) to close business and drive brand awareness in Japan
  • Attend and represent RZR at industry events and conferences in Japan and the region
  • Build category-specific strategies across gaming, fintech, ecommerce, subscription apps, and other high-potential verticals
  • Provide weekly insight summaries to sales leadership — wins, objections, competitive intelligence
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets, ramping from first close to independent deal acceleration

Requirements

  • 5+ years of programmatic advertising sales experience with expertise in mobile marketing (User Acquisition, Re-Engagement, DSPs, SKAN, mobile attribution)
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining executive-level relationships, with an established network of app marketing decision makers in Japan
  • Strategic, consultative seller skilled at uncovering client challenges and aligning them with high-impact solutions
  • Demonstrated quota attainment with specific, measurable results
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem — DSP mechanics, attribution platforms, iOS privacy, ML-driven optimisation
  • Builder mindset: comfortable operating independently, creating pipeline from scratch, and driving growth beyond quota expectations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels
  • Fluency in both English and Japanese, written and spoken
