About the Role
The role oversees visual merchandising design and operational execution across all physical retail environments in the UKI region. Reporting to the International Senior VM Manager, this position ensures brand consistency, manages new retailer rollouts, and coordinates large-scale pop-ups and events while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design and operational execution of visual merchandising in physical retail environments.
- Ensure strict adherence to global brand guidelines, standards, and timelines.
- Lead new retailer rollouts, permanent counter installations, and large-scale pop-up events.
- Manage planogram updates, NPD launches, and pricing updates.
- Collaborate with regional and global VM teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Partner with UKI sales and marketing teams to align VM executions with business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships through clear briefing processes, timelines, and budgets.
- Track VM spending against CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
- Conduct regular store visits to flagship and top-performing locations to rectify field issues.
- Develop training manuals for the field team and agency staff regarding VM standards.
- Create product layouts and planograms for new store designs using consumer and retailer insights.
- Coordinate collateral orders and artwork for new store openings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant degree in Product, Industrial, Interior, or Retail design.
- Portfolio demonstrating beauty or luxury VM design stages.
- Understanding of print processes for in-store 2D graphics.
- Experience managing vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and installation execution.
- Experience working with Boots, Sephora, or department stores.
- Ability to travel within the UK and Ireland for store openings and events.
- Comfortable working a 3-day hybrid office schedule.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with high attention to detail and autonomy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to integrate constructive feedback.
