About the Role

As a Host/ess of Booking Office 1869 at St. Pancras, you are responsible for delivering the warmest of five-star welcomes in our food & beverage outlets. Your personality and professionalism are key in creating memorable guest experiences, from the initial welcome to the final goodbye. You will also manage reservation systems and handle guest inquiries regarding pricing, products, and menus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product (food & beverage), menu, operational, and service knowledge.
  • Understand overall hotel operations to contribute to the guest experience.
  • Proactively learn about menu items and service standards.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery across all F&B outlets.
  • Possess knowledge of Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of reservation systems and computer software.
  • Exhibit excellence in spoken and written English for guest communication.
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings and 1:1s.
  • Maintain exceptionally high standards of five-star luxury lifestyle service within The Booking Office, Hansom Lounge, and MI+ME.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive, and on-brand attitude, grooming, body language, and tone.
  • Deliver service to full potential.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all F&B equipment and areas.
  • Carry out other duties as required to ensure F&B and hotel operations are maintained.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of standards and procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service.
