About the Role
SKG Properties is seeking a Junior Site Supervisor to oversee on-site activities, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and client satisfaction within our dynamic property development environment.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing on-site laborers and construction workers
- Ensuring availability of building materials and equipment
- Monitoring construction budget and expenses
- Coordinating daily onsite activities with the Site Manager and Project Manager
- Liaising between clients and subcontractors/suppliers
- Planning and implementing work schedules
- Adhering to construction industry standards and safety regulations
- Reviewing and communicating onsite progress to management
- Undertaking site safety inspections
- Preparing and presenting site reports
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a junior Site Supervisor or similar position in finishing
- Complete understanding of construction industry rules and regulations
- Basic knowledge of site safety practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- An eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical strength
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to travel to various site locations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake psychometric tests.
