About the Role

As a Casual Bartender at The Hansom, you will deliver exceptional bar service by preparing and serving high-quality beverages while creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to premium service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, friendly, and consistent bar service across all shifts.
• Prepare and serve beverages to the highest quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Support stock control by minimizing wastage and reporting shortages.
• Drive sales through upselling, strong product knowledge, and guest engagement.
• Participate in promotional activities and seasonal menu offerings.
• Assist with cocktail preparation, menu execution, and new beverage initiatives.
• Ensure the bar mise en place is clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, till use, and transaction procedures.
• Engage guests through warm service, knowledge sharing, and brand storytelling.
• Work collaboratively with the bar and wider hotel team to maintain a positive and professional working environment.
