About the Role
The Control Room Specialist ensures safety and security within the LSP facility by monitoring access points, conducting searches, and overseeing live surveillance. This role supports the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) through a nonjudgmental, skill-building approach focused on positive behavior reinforcement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrance and exit doors
- Admit authorized personnel to the facility
- Conduct security searches
- Monitor live surveillance footage
- Support and implement the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM)
- Maintain a therapeutic environment for residents
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of two years direct care experience with at-risk youth or a college degree with one year of experience
- Valid Driver’s License
