About the Role

BHSN is seeking passionate individuals to join their rapidly growing team as an Accounts Receivable and Credentialing Specialist. This role supports the accounting department by working within accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and other financial functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Revenue Cycle Department by coordinating initial applications and renewal credential applications for licensed providers with Medicaid, Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care Companies, Commercial Insurance, and CAQH applications.
  • Credential new sites with various payors, including adding new sites to existing contracts.
  • Ensure all providers are properly registered with all payors to provide services, in coordination with providers.
  • Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable/credentialing process by identifying areas for performance improvement.
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared, as directed by the Director of Revenue Cycle.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Highly Detail Oriented and ability to manage time appropriately.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to independently build spreadsheets for tracking purposes.
