About the Role
Student tutors will work in-person in the Tutoring Center and/or the Writing Center, assisting with course content, study skills, test preparation, and writing assignments. Opportunities may include cross-training at the library Service Desk or serving as a classroom tutoring assistant.

Requirements
- Demonstrated abilities in the desired tutoring area based on college courses taken and grades earned
- Content knowledge and a patient, encouraging personality
- Willingness to help students discover their learning styles and try different strategies
- Recommendation from an instructor in the subject they wish to tutor
- Completion of a supplemental online application
