About the Role
As a Civil Engineer, you will represent the operational interests during the implementation of new projects. You will collaborate closely with project engineers, operational engineers, internal departments, and external partners to ensure new facilities are properly planned, constructed, and integrated into the existing infrastructure. You will maintain focus on both operational requirements and the long-term technical consistency of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- You will manage and coordinate the structural engineering interface between new and existing facilities.
- You will clarify and coordinate technical requirements between new construction projects, existing operations, and involved departments.
- You will evaluate structural engineering concepts and measures regarding their impact on existing facilities and operational processes.
- You will ensure compliance with applicable norms, regulations, and internal standards for structural measures on existing sites.
- You will review, create, and maintain technical documents and documentation.
- You will support project teams in the implementation of new construction projects and their integration into existing facility structures.
- You will oversee structural engineering acceptances, inspections, and handovers of new construction sites and structural measures into existing operations.
- You will contribute your experience to the further development of processes, standards, and interfaces between project and operational organizations.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Civil Engineering or a comparable technical field is a must.
- Entry-level candidates and applicants with professional experience are welcome.
- Knowledge of relevant structural engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
- Professional experience in the energy, industrial, plant, or infrastructure sector is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the technical interrelationships of complex technical facilities is desirable.
- Experience in coordinating and aligning with various stakeholders and departments.
- Very good German language skills (C1) and good English language skills (B2).
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
- High degree of initiative, flexibility, and responsibility.
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and team orientation.
