About the Role

This role supports our Chicago market but is open to fully remote candidates. It's a great opportunity to demonstrate organization and communication skills while overseeing project design progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, as-builts, and operations and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Participate in team and on-site progress meetings.
  • Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications.
  • Ensure AHJ requirements and procedures are followed.
  • Multi-task and prioritize among assignments with strong adherence to deadlines.
  • Excel beyond expectations in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in the design of fire alarms or low-voltage systems.
  • Previous experience working in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge.
  • Ability to pre-plan and execute tasks with a great amount of detail.
