About the Role
This role supports our Chicago market but is open to fully remote candidates. It's a great opportunity to demonstrate organization and communication skills while overseeing project design progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, as-builts, and operations and maintenance manuals.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets.
- Participate in team and on-site progress meetings.
- Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications.
- Ensure AHJ requirements and procedures are followed.
- Multi-task and prioritize among assignments with strong adherence to deadlines.
- Excel beyond expectations in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the design of fire alarms or low-voltage systems.
- Previous experience working in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge.
- Ability to pre-plan and execute tasks with a great amount of detail.
