About the Role

HERE Technologies is seeking a (Sr). Bid Manager to lead high-value deals and drive business growth. This role is critical in securing major RFP deals, leading cross-functional teams, crafting compelling proposals, and converting pipeline opportunities into signed deals. You will act as the central point between customers, sales, product, legal, and technical teams, making complex solutions clear, competitive, and customer-focused for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a virtual bid team across various departments upon bid qualification.
• Define the action plan, deliverables, and RFP milestones, ensuring seamless execution.
• Collaborate with the bid team to develop a compelling, competitive strategy.
• Structure and document customer requirements in partnership with the Bid Intake Manager.
• Oversee end-to-end stakeholder collaboration and coordinate required approvals.
• Support the development and validation of the bid business case.
• Coordinate customer presentations, refine proposals based on feedback, and orchestrate negotiations.
• Facilitate a seamless transition to the program execution phase upon successful bid nomination.
• Gather feedback on bid results and identify lessons learned for future improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a customer-facing role in embedded software, cloud software/platform (SaaS/PaaS), enterprise software, and/or industry software solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly absorb technical concepts and advise customers on their value propositions.
• Strong customer-facing and negotiation skills.
• Able to work against tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
• Solid understanding of the software application development lifecycle and supporting infrastructures.
• Ability to collaborate and operate in a team-based stakeholder environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time productively and effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
