About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering strategic initiatives that drive innovation, operational excellence, and business growth across the Biologics and Chemicals Division (BCD). Your leadership will help bring complex, high-impact programs to life—supporting products and solutions that advance life sciences and improve patient outcomes worldwide. Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end leadership for strategic projects and programs from concept through successful implementation.
- Work closely with executive sponsors and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead multiple strategic, cross-functional projects and programs supporting key business priorities.
- Drive project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring accountability, proactive communication, and successful delivery of milestones and business outcomes.
- Develop project charters, detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, and governance structures.
- Partner with executive sponsors and business leaders to define project objectives, priorities, risks, and success metrics.
- Proactively identify project risks, evaluate options using data-driven analysis, facilitate decision-making, and escalate issues.
- Monitor project performance using established project management methodologies, tools, and key performance indicators.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources while balancing competing priorities.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations communicating project health, progress, risks, and recommendations.
- Foster collaboration across global teams while influencing stakeholders and driving alignment in a matrixed organization.
- Challenge existing processes and champion continuous improvement opportunities.
- Promote best practices in project and program management while supporting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or another related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience with a demonstrated history of successfully leading complex initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects involving cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience overseeing significant capital and operational budgets while delivering measurable business value.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Experience working effectively in a highly matrixed, global business environment.
- Strong understanding of formal project management principles, methodologies, and governance practices.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Experience supporting strategic transformation, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
