They demonstrate excellence in procedures like blood draws and EKGs, collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants, and provide quality phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring, and blood glucose testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy
- Perform EKG
- Monitor vital signs
- Perform blood glucose testing
- Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants
Requirements
- Minimum of one year current Nursing Attendant experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant
- Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant
