About the Role
Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) for flexible live-in positions throughout Suffolk County, NY. We offer various schedules and a supportive environment for caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Offer medication reminders
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health Aide experience
- Valid New York State HHA Certificate
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical examination completed within the past year
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON (within 1 year), or chest X-ray (within 5 years)
- MMR immunization documentation (within 10 years)
