About the Role

The College Aide will support the Office of Livable Streets (OLS) Administration Unit in managing administrative and operational functions. This role assists with procurement, invoice processing, document management, and administrative tracking to ensure efficient program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement processes.
  • Assist with invoice processing.
  • Assist with document management.
  • Assist with administrative tracking.
  • Prepare and review purchase order documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners.
  • Maintain unit tracking systems and calendars.
  • Respond to inquiries related to Open Streets, Street Seats, Shared Streets, Plazas, and other Office of Livable Streets initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to unit staff.

Requirements

  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
  • Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.
  • New hires must reside in NYC for the first two years of employment.
  • Appointments are subject to OMB approval.
