About the Role
The Manufacturing Associate Assembly 2 will be responsible for a wide variety of manufacturing operations on cables and harnesses. This role offers the opportunity to train on high-level operations based on business needs and requires clear communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Build cable assemblies of varying difficulty.
- Train others on building cable assemblies.
- Understand processes and procedures, recognizing non-conformance or problems in production processes.
- Provide training on simple tasks to lower-level Associates.
- Communicate manufacturing issues and concerns to leads and senior manufacturing staff.
- Follow and obey all company policies and procedures.
- Be a team player.
- Implement changes in process flows based on verbal or written guidance.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for periods up to 4 hours.
- Must be able to lift at least 10lbs frequently; up to 35lbs occasionally, and heavier weights with assistance.
- Must be able to wear required safety protective equipment including safety shoes and glasses.
- Must be available for overtime work.
- Must have superior English reading and writing skills.
- Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- Requires oral communication skills.
Skills
- Skilled usage of most equipment in one or more work areas.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Intuitive MRP software.
- Ability to read manufacturing instructions and interpret manufacturing designs/drawings/diagrams.

Experience Level
- 1 year of i3 manufacturing experience or 2 years outside general manufacturing experience.
- 1 year minimum of i3 manufacturing experience.
- 2 years of outside manufacturing experience with the ability to understand the workflow of the production process from raw material to final customer output.
Education Level
- High School or equivalent.
