About the Role

As a Creative Media Production Tutor, you will provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences to adult learners, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their creative potential. You will design and deliver industry-relevant module content, track learner progress, provide advice and guidance, and carry out marking and assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver industry relevant module content to learners.
  • Ensure every student receives the highest-quality learning experience.
  • Prepare learners for roles in the media industry.
  • Track learner progress and provide advice and guidance through one-to-ones and tutorials.
  • Carry out marking and assessments.
  • Work proactively to maximise outcomes and identify progression opportunities for learners.
  • Act as a source of guidance and advice across the wider graphics and media curriculum.
  • Provide additional support where needed.

Requirements

  • An established professional with a qualification in a relevant subject area at Level 4.
  • A teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Strong industry knowledge and relevant experience in creative media production.
  • Experience in Video Production and Audio Recording.
  • Experience in 2d / 3d Animation, Interactive Media and Social Media.
  • Experience in Contextual and historical research.
  • Experience in Critical Analysis and technical understanding.
  • Experience of pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Good command of Adobe CC, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Media Encoder.
  • Good command of Adobe Audition.
  • Good command of Blender or Cinema 4D.
  • Good command of Garageband (or similar).
  • Committed to delivering an outstanding learner experience.
  • Encourage students to develop new skills, progress and achieve their goals.
  • Basic DBS Check required.
