  • Utilise audience data (transactional, demographic, engagement, behavioural) to develop lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Develop sophisticated segmentation strategies for personalised communications and improved customer experience.
  • Maintain audience lists, ensuring data quality and compliance in collaboration with the CRM and Data Lead.
  • Drive personalisation initiatives using customer behaviour, preferences, lifecycle stage, product interest, and engagement history.
  • Develop and maintain segmentation strategies for tailored content delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify audience opportunities and behavioural insights.
  • Design, build, and optimise automated customer journeys, triggered communications, and lifecycle programmes.
  • Manage a high volume of concurrent email campaigns and workflows, ensuring coordination and alignment with commercial priorities.
  • Develop and refine nurture programmes to guide prospects and customers through various stages.
  • Create and manage sophisticated audience segmentation and personalisation strategies.
  • Map and optimise customer journeys across B2B and B2C audiences with product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Lead testing and optimisation of customer journeys, automation logic, messaging, timing, and audience pathways.
  • Ensure CRM and marketing automation platforms are structured and utilised effectively.
  • Manage campaigns and workflows end-to-end using HubSpot, seeking platform optimisation opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on key email performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, revenue attribution, engagement, retention).
  • Analyse performance and campaign outcomes to inform future strategies and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Use testing, insight, and data to continuously optimise campaigns and journeys.
  • Write compelling, human copy for campaigns, nurture sequences, and operational sends.
  • Write copy for other formats such as paid social ads, website updates, or landing page headlines.
  • Maintain consistency of tone and D&AD's brand voice across all communications.
  • Proofread and sense-check copy across the team's output.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organisation.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on email best practice and customer communications.
  • Manage briefing, approvals, and delivery processes.
  • Ensure communications remain audience-focused and commercially effective.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in email marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation roles within a complex B2B organisation, ideally across education, events, or multi-product environment.
