About the Role

PicturePeople is looking for individuals with a passion for photography and a desire to connect with people and their stories. This role involves conducting unique photoshoots and contributing to the development of trainees.

Responsibilities

  • Create unique photos by implementing creative ideas and capturing the individual personality of each client.
  • Support the training of apprentices in studio operations, guiding them in shootings and workflows, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Educate on fundamentals such as client interaction, posing, lighting, workflow, and image selection, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Participate in the planning of training, setting learning objectives, documenting progress, and preparing apprentices for internal assessments.
  • Conduct professional photoshoots from preparation to post-production, managing the entire process both in-studio and occasionally on location.
  • Master image editing using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to perfect photographs.
  • Advise clients on pose, expression, and image selection to foster a comfortable atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Support new client acquisition by proactively planning and executing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Possess a certificate as a photographer (m/f/d) or demonstrable relevant experience in people and portrait photography as a career changer.
  • Hold a trainer qualification (AEVO/AdA-Schein) or be willing to obtain one promptly.
  • Proficient in common image editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to integrate well into the team.
  • Ability to maintain an overview and prioritize tasks, even in hectic situations.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work in a shift model during opening hours, including Saturdays.
