About the Role
This in-house role supports the management of UK tax matters for a listed international investment group, covering UK corporation tax compliance, quarterly tax reporting under IFRS, VAT, and oversight of transfer pricing processes. The successful candidate will take day-to-day ownership of UK tax processes with support from the wider tax team.
Responsibilities
- Manage transfer pricing compliance, including reviewing local files and tax returns.
- Liaise with internal teams and tax authorities on transfer pricing matters.
- Review and update the transfer pricing policy as required.
- Monitor policy adherence and manage external advisers on policy and documentation.
- Prepare and acquire data for transfer pricing modeling, review model output, and support intra-group service fee allocations.
- Support international tax analysis on investment exits.
- Provide updates on UK and international tax legislation developments.
- Support group tax reporting and data requests (JCFC, pillar 2).
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and tax-related initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CA or equivalent) and/or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), or working towards the latter.
- Strong UK corporation tax knowledge.
- Experience working with external advisers on tax compliance and reporting.
- Working knowledge of IFRS tax accounting (IAS 12).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience of Transfer Pricing policy management, modeling and compliance within a multinational or asset management environment (desirable).
- Experience working in-house within a multinational or investment environment (desirable).
- Familiarity with international tax regimes and cross-border tax considerations (desirable).
