About the Role
Five Below is seeking a motivated individual to join their team, focusing on delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving store success. This role is crucial in upholding the company's purpose of making life better through fun and affordable products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure crew members provide excellent customer service through personal interaction.
- Train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience for fast and friendly checkouts.
- Lead assigned store to achieve customer service score goals.
- Manage front-end operations and merchandising, ensuring standards are met.
- Maintain front-end equipment and train associates on services.
- Execute opening and closing procedures, maintaining store cleanliness and readiness.
- Perform store manager duties in their absence.
- Partner with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise crew members.
- Review and act on corporate communications.
- Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
- Perform store maintenance tasks including garbage removal, cleaning, and stock room organization.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on store needs.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Creative thinking.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel.
