About the Role

Citi is hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive the commercialization and growth of CitiVerify, a data verification product within the Global Payments organization. This role involves scaling the product, deepening client engagement, and shaping its continued development within the Payments Data Services team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market execution for CitiVerify, including client value propositions, segmentation, pricing, channel strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain the CitiVerify product roadmap, prioritizing enhancements and launches that deliver measurable commercial and client outcomes.
  • Conduct client and competitor research to track market trends, identify product gaps, and inform strategic decisions across the product lifecycle.
  • Engage directly with clients through co-creation activities to validate product direction and translate client needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Partner with delivery, analytics, and business stakeholders to align priorities, resolve blockers, and keep the product on track against commercial targets.
  • Monitor product financial performance, contribute to revenue and acquisition goals, and surface gaps in business plans for timely resolution.
  • Ensure product decisions are made with clear awareness of risk, regulatory requirements, and sound business judgment, escalating issues transparently where needed.

Requirements

  • Significant product management experience, with a track record of owning product strategy and delivery from roadmap through to commercial outcomes.
  • Working knowledge across marketing, product development, acquisitions, or analytics, with the ability to apply that knowledge to real product decisions.
  • Experience in payments, data services, or financial services product management.
  • Background in analytics-driven product development, including using data to validate product decisions and measure commercial performance.
  • Experience providing guidance or informal mentorship to other product managers within a team setting.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across stakeholders, challenge constructively, and drive decisions forward in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Analytical skills applied to market data and competitive landscapes, with the ability to translate findings into clear and prioritised product actions.
  • Ability to manage complex workstreams independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and make decisions confidently under pressure.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority.
