About the Role
The Facility Coordinator supports the Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Management Team in the effective coordination, delivery, and execution of site-based facilities management and workplace support services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Ensure sites, facilities, and assets are safe, well-maintained, and operating according to required standards.
- Respond to and manage risks, incidents, hazards, emergencies, and operational issues.
- Support facilities operations, including inspections, maintenance, vendor management, procurement, and service delivery.
- Assist with reporting, budgeting, documentation control, and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer-facing/customer-service roles.
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in both English and Japanese languages.
- Strong knowledge of Facilities Management processes and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
- High attention to detail with a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, build trust, and communicate effectively.
