About the Role
Join NERA Economic Consulting's International Arbitration line of business as a Senior Consultant or Director. This role involves applying quantitative methods to address economic and financial topics within international arbitration, cross-border commercial disputes, and regulatory proceedings. You will collaborate with economists and industry experts, operate independently, and manage client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Apply quantitative methods to address economic and financial topics.
- Conduct asset valuation, regulatory analysis, and market analysis.
- Support international arbitration on high-value matters.
- Provide expert testimony.
- Lead projects.
- Manage P&L.
- Operate independently and build and run a "microbusiness" within the firm.
- Own client relationships.
- Deliver high-quality work.
- Progress from a seasoned senior to expert.

Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience.
- Expertise in supporting international arbitration on high-value matters.
- Experience in testifying, leading projects, and managing P&L.
- Ability to operate independently and build and run a "microbusiness" inside a broader platform.
- Interest in and passion for owning client relationships and delivering high-quality work.
- Experience across key verticals such as financial services and securities, insurance, banking, and other sectors.
