About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Payments domain to work between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for payment-related systems and initiatives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA, and external vendors.
- Analyse end-to-end payment processes, including payment initiation, processing, authorisation, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for development teams.
- Support API and system integration requirements across payment platforms and banking systems.
- Analyse payment flows and identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and process improvements.
- Work with technical teams to define data mapping, field mapping, interface specifications, and integration requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production implementation activities.
- Investigate and analyse payment-related issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on payment transformation, migration, modernisation, or platform implementation projects.
Requirements
- Experience working on payment platforms, payment processing systems, and end-to-end payment transformation or integration projects.
- Comfortable working between business stakeholders and technical teams.
