About the Role
The Key Carrier is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role, alternating between Coordinator duties and leadership responsibilities to maintain store operations. This role requires open availability and serves as a model for exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive internal and external customer experience
- Promote a culture of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality
- Act as Manager on Duty while adhering to company policies
- Ensure the store team performs tasks according to the store plan
- Address customer service issues and provide coaching to Associates
- Exercise discretion regarding customer service policies
- Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas
- Ensure Associates adhere to operational procedures
- Execute opening and closing procedures according to company guidelines
- Communicate priorities and progress updates to management and Associates
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
- Partner with management on Associate training needs
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Promote credit and loyalty programs
- Support shrink reduction goals and programs
- Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
Requirements
- Open availability including nights and weekends
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Team player with ability to work with peers and supervisors
- Ability to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- 1 year of retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
