About the Role

The Learning Coordinator collaborates with key team members and clients to implement learning solutions and manage project execution. They develop and maintain client and vendor relationships, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support on learning projects and programs.
  • Consult with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives and requirements.
  • Meet course development milestones and ensure quality delivery.
  • Assist with project planning activities, including scope, schedule, resources, risks, and budget.
  • Manage multiple tasks on parallel projects.
  • Support day-to-day project activities and participate in meetings.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure milestones are met.
  • Maintain project documentation and records.
  • Proactively resolve project issues and escalate when appropriate.
  • Analyze post-course survey results.
  • Assist with managing project budgets by reviewing invoices and providing updates.
  • Work with external service providers.
  • Manage the translation of materials, if applicable.
  • Develop and execute communication plans.
  • Coordinate training setup in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Support other assigned tasks to meet business needs.
  • Work beyond normal hours as required by business needs.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary Education in learning/Adult Education Certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Learning and Development or a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate/Advanced technical skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of LMS such as Success Factors.
  • Experience reporting within an LMS.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker.
  • Proven success working in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator.
  • Effective team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Emphasizes and builds the value of service offered to the client.
  • Written and oral fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to support training coordination nationally and communicate with English-speaking colleagues.
  • Ability to communicate processes to employees in English-speaking provinces.
