About the Role
Oversee and manage works across SEMD Projects in the South East alongside the Site Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Security, Civil & electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
- Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans.
- Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
- Coach and mentor Site staff, including Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
- Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
- Promote positive health and well-being amongst peers.
- Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation.
Requirements
- CSCS/ECS gold card (essential)
- SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
- Experience as a Site Supervisor, managing and overseeing MEICA or security projects.
- Experience within water / heavy industrial industries.
- Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification.
- Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment).
- Will need to pass BPSS screening.
- PASMA / IPAF (desirable)
- Cat & Genny/Service Avoidance Training (desirable)
- Confined space (desirable)
- EUSR water hygiene (desirable)
- Thames water passport (desirable)
- Inspection and testing certification (desirable)
