About the Role

Oversee and manage works across SEMD Projects in the South East alongside the Site Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Security, Civil & electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
  • Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans.
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
  • Coach and mentor Site staff, including Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
  • Promote positive health and well-being amongst peers.
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation.

Requirements

  • CSCS/ECS gold card (essential)
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
  • Experience as a Site Supervisor, managing and overseeing MEICA or security projects.
  • Experience within water / heavy industrial industries.
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification.
  • Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment).
  • Will need to pass BPSS screening.
  • PASMA / IPAF (desirable)
  • Cat & Genny/Service Avoidance Training (desirable)
  • Confined space (desirable)
  • EUSR water hygiene (desirable)
  • Thames water passport (desirable)
  • Inspection and testing certification (desirable)
