About the Role

Diagnostics & Genomics is planning to grow further with production sites in the USA, UK, Germany, and Denmark. We supply our diverse customer base in the fields of molecular diagnostics, pharma/biotech, and agrogenomics with mission-critical genomics. Our integrated portfolio of products, services, and expertise supports our goal of 'Science for a Safer World'. We have put our mission into practice by collaborating with our customers, enabling research for life-changing treatments for diseases and ailments worldwide. Responsibilities

  • Performing PCR on DNA samples according to established protocols
  • Performing DNA extractions from various sample types
  • Utilizing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for tracking and managing sample workflows
  • Working according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring high quality standards in all processes according to ISO:9001
  • Operating robotic systems for sample handling and processing
  • Clear and precise project documentation

Requirements

  • Biology-oriented degree
  • Knowledge in molecular biology, especially DNA methodologies is desirable
  • Independent, flexible, and responsible work style
  • High level of teamwork and communication skills
  • Good German and English language skills
