About the Role
This role supports the Ecommerce and Digital teams by delivering accurate reporting, actionable insights, and data-driven recommendations. You will monitor performance, analyze customer behavior, and support key business decisions through reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Maintain dashboards and reporting that track key ecommerce and digital performance metrics.
- Analyze customer, website and trading data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Support Ecommerce, Digital Marketing and CRM teams with data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Quantum Metric and other digital platforms to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Translate data and findings into clear, easy-to-understand summaries for a range of stakeholders.
- Deliver regular weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports to support business performance reviews.
- Support the accuracy and integrity of digital reporting and tracking.
- Create data visualisations using Power BI and other reporting tools to make performance data accessible and meaningful.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on testing, measurement and optimisation initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and attention to detail across all reporting outputs.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance business insight.
Requirements
- Experience in Ecommerce, Digital or Retail Analytics.
- Natural curiosity for using data to solve problems, uncover opportunities and support confident business-making.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
- Able to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and focus.
- Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio or similar platforms.
- Confident using digital analytics tools including Google Analytics, Quantum Metric or equivalent platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Google Marketing Platform and Google Tag Manager would be beneficial.
- Exposure to competitor benchmarking and market analysis tools.
- Experience working with BigQuery and SQL, particularly for data analysis and customer segmentation, would be beneficial.
- Experience within beauty, retail or another consumer-facing business would be an advantage.
- Must have the right to work in the UK at the start of employment.
