About the Role
Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Part Time Float Pharmacy Technician to support the functions of a Genoa mental health pharmacy. This role involves dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, contributing to serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities by ensuring patients receive the right medications and follow treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
- Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
- Assist the Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Perform various clerical duties related to the department.
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite at 2431 6th Ave., Suite P, Troy, NY 12180 and 260 S Pearl St. Albany, NY 12202.
- Ability to work part time with 32 hours weekly Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
- Access to reliable transportation.
