About the Role

The Development Portfolio Management Team at OEGEN is responsible for delivering development investments and works with developers to achieve investment cases amidst changing commercial and market dynamics. Your mission will be to ensure the success of a large development portfolio across Europe, spanning various maturity stages and five countries. You will be crucial in supporting board directors and fund managers in decision-making and value creation for portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

Model renewable energy projects, joint ventures, and TopCo business plans.
Maintain and adapt financial models to monitor valuation and financial performance of investments.
Conduct regular assessments of overall portfolio performance against objectives and report progress to OEGEN fund managers.
Support the commercial management of multiple development pipelines, tracking performance against investment cases and milestones.
Support value maximization initiatives for development projects, including exit timing, sale preparation, and revenue contracting.
Drive the exit process of projects and platforms.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and KPIs, identifying and escalating risks.
Provide briefings and solutions to decision-makers.
Support the implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks across portfolio companies.
Coordinate with developers on the preparation of board packs and investment committee materials.
Track compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Strong financial modelling skills (DCFs, business plans).
Proficient in financial modelling principles, accounting, project management, data, and reporting.
Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing investments, assets, and/or development pipelines against investment objectives.
Experience in analysing complex data, tracking KPIs, and preparing structured reporting.
Pro-active and self-starting senior team member with a strong sense of ownership and a "can do" attitude.
Strong team spirit and ability to grow team members.
Great communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and presenting analysis.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferably, experience in the sale of renewable energy assets (development, in construction, or operational stage).
