Responsibilities
- Undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed professionally and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy (treatment, simulation and planning).
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- Ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
- Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
- Current Australian Radiation Use Licence.
