About the Role

The Portfolio Implementation Manager will support the efficient implementation and day-to-day management of multi-asset solutions across investment portfolios and managed accounts, including related data management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day portfolio management and trade processing of multi-asset portfolios.
  • Perform daily portfolio monitoring, manage compliance/constraint updates, and facilitate pre-trade order vetting.
  • Manage and coordinate daily client flows.
  • Ensure new securities are set up prior to investment.
  • Oversee execution of trades done by third parties.
  • Onboard multi-asset managed account solutions to platforms and ensure all required funds are available.
  • Implement approved portfolio changes across managed account portfolios, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Monitor portfolio implementation outcomes, investigate exceptions, and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
  • Assist with platform liaison regarding investment flows linked to advisers and their clients.
  • Manage portfolio reporting for all multi-asset portfolios and third-party reporting.
  • Input model information into performance data portal.
  • Generate monthly AUM figures for internal reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc adviser and internal reporting.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in investment operations, portfolio implementation, managed accounts, investment consulting, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of investment markets, asset classes, and investment vehicles.
  • Understanding of asset management and managed account operations.
  • Ability to streamline processes, eliminate manual steps, and make repeatable workflows more efficient.
  • Comfortable working with large or messy datasets and can quickly spot patterns, errors, and opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow defined processes and perform accurate checks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • High level of accountability and ownership over tasks and deliverables.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a willingness to investigate and resolve issues independently.
