About the Role

DR. EMI ARPA Skin GmbH is seeking a dedicated individual to manage product portfolios from ideation to launch, ensuring strategic alignment with leadership and overseeing supply chain operations. This role involves leading a product team and navigating the complexities of the skincare industry.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product responsibility: Strategic and operational management of the product portfolio from initial idea through formulation, packaging, to launch.
• Close coordination with management: Translation of visionary impulses into structured, reliable product roadmaps and milestones.
• Process & priority management: Interface management between management, product team, and marketing; ensuring commitment in decisions.
• Leadership & team development: Direct leadership of the product team.
• Forecasting & inventory planning: Responsibility for demand planning and sales forecasting to prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Risk & firefighting management: Early identification of bottlenecks and risks in the skincare supply chain and confident resolution of interface and clarification cases.
• Capacity & resource management: Taking over operational gaps as needed and building up the operations team.

Requirements

• Several years of (management) experience in product management & operations within the cosmetics, skincare, or a comparable industry.
• Deep understanding of the complexities and risks in skincare production (raw materials, packaging, lead times, regulatory hurdles, contract manufacturers).
• Sound experience in forecasting & demand planning as well as crisis and bottleneck management (firefighting).
• High resilience to remain focused in a very dynamic, owner-managed environment, even with ad-hoc dynamics.
• Agility & flexibility: Ability to react quickly to market or strategy changes without losing sight of the basic structure and the team.
• Native-level German language skills.
