About the Role
TMGM is seeking a bilingual Product Director to lead Sales and Client Portals across APAC. This role will drive product strategy, cross-functional delivery, and data-led growth, with a focus on exploring AI opportunities to enhance user experiences. Experience in financial services or trading is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Own product roadmaps for Sales Portal and Client Portal, prioritizing initiatives to align with business objectives and user needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of data flows and functional integrations across various platforms to identify experience gaps and optimization opportunities.
- Translate growth objectives and user insights into clear product specifications and executable delivery plans.
- Conduct research into the needs of retail trading clients and internal teams to produce PRDs and functional specifications.
- Partner with Design, Engineering, QA, and Data teams to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch.
- Lead backlog management and prioritization decisions, coordinating sprint planning, iteration reviews, and releases.
- Establish core metrics across product modules and review user behavior, conversion funnels, retention, and lifetime value.
- Lead A/B testing and product experimentation to continuously optimize features and user experience.
- Advance data-product capabilities supporting BI reporting, user segmentation, personalization, and recommendation use cases.
- Identify and validate AI and machine-learning opportunities in trading products.
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure product designs are feasible, scalable, and maintainable.
- Act as the key product representative across Business, Compliance, Technology, and Marketing.
- Understand how regulatory requirements affect product design and delivery.
- Communicate effectively in English and Chinese and support product collaboration across APAC markets and cultures.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of product management experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a Senior Product Manager or product-line lead.
- Experience with Sales Portals, Client Portals, or comparable internal and external portal products is highly preferred.
- Strong structured product thinking with the ability to break down complex requirements, set clear priorities, and drive effective cross-functional execution.
- Solid data analysis skills and hands-on experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, or similar tools.
- Foundational SQL capability.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Notion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
- Experience delivering both mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web products.
- Familiarity with Flutter or React Native is advantageous.
- Product or integration experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Practical experience designing and delivering AI or machine-learning products.
