About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager based in Berlin to build new processes and contribute to the company strategy of profitable growth. Apply to be a part of our procurement team to have a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing automotive companies in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing boards with departments and align on sourcing strategies.
- Own the Source to Pay process for the category, including supplier selection, tendering, and negotiations.
- Prepare guidelines and conduct benchmarking.
- Evaluate savings potential per account on an EU level and deliver savings.
- Create and execute a category roadmap.
- Evaluate payment terms per category and execute improvement targets.
- Manage contracts, including creating overviews and renewal plans.
- Work efficiently and autonomously in a highly self-driven manner.
- Coordinate multiple internal stakeholders with various hierarchy levels.
- Drive collaboration and partnership with vendors.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of working experience in procurement, preferably with experience in implementing new processes and category management.
- Experience in Technology category (IT: software, hosting, telephony).
- Ideally, in-depth knowledge in global procurement as a Procurement Manager.
- Sound experience in building up strategies and driving initiatives for business improvement.
- A high level of analytical thinking coupled with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English; German is a plus.
