About the Role
The Ritz-Carlton is seeking professionals to uphold its "Gold Standards" of luxury hospitality, ensuring guests receive exceptional and memorable experiences. This role involves supporting Sales & Marketing with administrative tasks and client communication, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence and guest care.
Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying.
- Prepare sales-related documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
- Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
- Assemble information packages with relevant materials like brochures and promotional items.
- Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty.
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in sales software.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding property facilities, services, rates, promotions, and events.
- Serve as a client point of contact, communicating via phone and email.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality.
- Protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
- Anticipate and address guest service needs.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Support team goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
