About the Role
We are seeking charismatic individuals, experienced or not, for 30-39 hours per week, to help create a welcoming environment for children and families, fostering mutual respect and equal opportunities. We aim to provide more children with a fair start in life.
Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for the most important members of our society.
- Supporting children in developing their own abilities, observing and documenting developmental steps.
- Planning and integrating various activities with and for the children, such as excursions and long-term projects, into the daily routine.
- Engaging in dialogue with parents, recognizing them as partners in the educational process.
- Contributing to the continuous development of the Kita and participating in shaping its concept.
Requirements
- State-recognized educator qualification or an equivalent degree according to the state's Kita legislation.
- Ideally, experience working with integration children.
- Ability for open, appreciative, and clear communication with colleagues, parents, and children.
- Knowledge of current pedagogical and legal requirements.

- St. Markus facility is located in Spandau, Berlin, near Brandenburg.
- It is a small facility with four groups, including one nursery group.
