About the Role
The Multimedia Content Creator is a hands-on visual storyteller responsible for capturing and creating engaging content that brings the Optimum brand to life across internal communications, social media, executive storytelling and enterprise campaigns. This role works closely with the Creative Specialist, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Creative Services to produce authentic, timely and platform-native content that connects employees, customers and communities to the business.
Responsibilities
- Capture and produce high-quality video, photography and multimedia content across internal and external channels.
- Create engaging, platform-native content optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, short-form video and emerging social platforms.
- Responsible for content performance and understanding social metrics.
- Support executive communications, employee storytelling, campaigns, product launches and enterprise initiatives through compelling visual content.
- Capture content in the field, including employee stories, executive interviews, customer moments, community events and company activations.
- Serve as an on-camera creator when appropriate to help humanize and elevate the Optimum brand.
- Edit video and multimedia content for multiple audiences while maintaining brand consistency and creative excellence.
- Build and maintain a robust enterprise content library for ongoing communications and marketing needs.
- Identify emerging trends, storytelling opportunities and creative formats that keep Optimum's content fresh, relevant and engaging.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience creating multimedia content for a consumer-facing brand, agency or media organization
- Exceptional videography, photography, editing and visual storytelling skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and modern video editing platforms
- Deep understanding of social-first storytelling, digital trends and content optimized for today's platforms
- Comfortable working both behind and in front of the camera in a variety of environments
- Strong understanding of how content supports brand building and business objectives
- Positive, energetic and highly proactive with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and deadlines are often tight
- Flexible and responsive to support major company announcements, events and time-sensitive business moments, including occasional evenings or weekends when needed
