About the Role

The Practice Engagement Specialist serves as the primary field presence in Ontario, managing a portfolio of primary care practices. This role is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of digital health tools, driving sustained adoption, and ensuring clinics meet performance targets through hands-on coaching and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end digital transformation for a portfolio of approximately 22 Ontario clinics.
  • Execute go-lives for digital tools including Online Booking, Self Check-In, Patient Reminders, Fax AI, Task Automation, and e-Referrals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinic managers and Medical Office Assistants.
  • Manage implementation timelines, readiness checklists, and provide on-site go-live support.
  • Lead 30/60/90 day adoption reinforcement cycles for newly launched clinics.
  • Coach physicians and staff on tool workflows, booking scripts, and digital patient engagement.
  • Monitor portfolio adoption metrics and report performance trends to management.
  • Support digital waitlist management, autobooking workflows, and patient volume tracking.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager on clinic lift strategies, physician escalations, and M&A pipeline readiness.
  • Execute implementations using established playbooks and provide feedback for process improvements.
  • Coordinate with the Project Coordinator regarding configuration, ticketing, and administrative support.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a client-facing role within healthcare, clinic operations, or digital health.
  • Experience working in or closely with Ontario FHO or primary care clinics.
  • Proven track record of driving behavior change.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with physicians and medical staff.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple practice files and schedules simultaneously.
  • Self-directed and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to clinic sites across Ontario.
