Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain application features across Angular frontend, Java Spring Boot backend, and MySQL database, utilizing AI-assisted development tools.
• Build user interfaces, backend APIs, business logic, database schemas, and queries; perform system integration, defect fixing, performance tuning, deployment support, and technical documentation with AI assistance.
• Develop and execute unit tests for frontend and backend modules, using AI-assisted techniques for improved coverage and edge case identification.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with Authority's coding standards and best practices, including OWASP Secure Coding Practices.
• Support application build, packaging, and deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using AI-assisted diagnostics and analysis tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system design, API specifications, and database documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, participate in agile delivery, and ensure components are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with requirements.
• Manage tech projects for systems operational and maintenance works, including new initiatives outsourced to ICT O&M contractors.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, and work with external parties, ICT providers, or government agencies to drive new initiatives/enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer/engineer or equivalent, preferably in Agile projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, .Net).
• Strong proficiency in a frontend framework (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, React).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI or similar) and modern development frameworks.
• Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex, abstract programming challenges creatively.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools for accelerating feature delivery, improving test coverage, and supporting product enhancement.
• Knowledge of application security and best practices in development standards and methodologies.
• Experience driving product development through Agile methodologies, utilizing SDLC and testing practices.
