About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of flow cytometers at universities, research institutions, hospitals, and testing centers across Japan. This role is critical in supporting cutting-edge research in immunology, oncology, regenerative medicine, and infectious diseases, ensuring that researchers and medical professionals can operate reliably to advance scientific and medical development.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of flow cytometers
- Provide technical troubleshooting for research and medical equipment
- Support researchers and medical professionals by resolving technical challenges
- Manage daily field service visits, typically 1-2 locations per day
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekend support approximately once every 2-3 months
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or technical field
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in equipment maintenance
