About the Role
This role supports business performance improvement by managing monthly management accounting and creating performance analysis and reports for management. You will act as a Finance Business Partner, collaborating with business unit managers to extract financial information from non-financial departments, analyze costs, and improve budget management.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly management accounting and create performance analysis and reports for management to support business performance improvement.
- Collaborate with business unit managers as a Finance Business Partner to extract financial information from non-financial departments, analyze costs, and improve budget management.
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly performance forecasts.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including planning, expenditure management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with business units to forecast revenues and expenses for the coming years.
- Build and oversee control systems to prevent and address violations of laws and internal policies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of controls and implement continuous improvements.
- Regularly review procedures and reports to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- Financial certifications such as CPA
- Native level Japanese proficiency
- Business level English proficiency
- 5+ years of FP&A experience
