About the Role
As a Settlement and Funding Operations Officer, you will ensure home loan settlements and funding activities are completed accurately and on time. You will coordinate the end-to-end settlement process, manage stakeholder expectations, and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate loan settlements from commencement through to completion
- Partner with customers, brokers, solicitors, and internal stakeholders
- Manage settlement deadlines and funding conditions
- Navigate and resolve complex settlement issues
- Identify risks proactively
- Contribute to process improvements within the lending operations value chain
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end settlements process
- Background in banking, lending, or financial services
- Experience managing matters from instruction through to settlement
- Ability to balance multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Capacity to handle challenging conversations professionally
- Completion of background screening as a condition of employment
